Getting the Bevalcursus reimbursed by your health insurer
My online Bevalcursus is a recognised course with Dutch health insurers. Many insurers pay back part of a pregnancy or birth course from their supplementary package. Whether that applies to you depends on your policy. Choose your insurer below to see what may be possible. The check is based on the 2026 reimbursements.

How to claim the reimbursement
- Check in your policy whether your supplementary package covers a pregnancy course and how much. Not sure? Ask your health insurer.
- Take the Bevalcursus and complete it. Most insurers only reimburse after that.
- Request an invoice or proof of participation by email at gulgen@vroedvrouwgulgen.nl.
- Submit it to your health insurer. You claim the reimbursement yourself.
